The short version: Emojio Paint Composer has no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. Your songs and settings stay on your device. The only information that leaves your device is what your app store and our payment provider need to sell you the one‑time unlock, and — on the website only — anonymous, cookie‑free visit counts.

This policy explains how the Emojio Paint Composer app ("Emojio", "the app", "we", "us") handles information. It applies to the iOS/iPadOS and Android versions published by Made with Best Practice.

Information we do not collect

We do not require or offer an account, sign‑in, or profile.
We do not use advertising, tracking, or crash‑reporting SDKs.
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, or microphone input.
We do not sell or share personal information with anyone.

Website analytics

The emojio-composer.madewithbestpractice.com website (not the app) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to see aggregate visit counts. It does not use cookies or any persistent identifier, and does not track you across other sites.

Information that stays on your device

Your songs — the emoji patterns you paint are stored locally on your device.
Free Premium days — the date you first opened the app is stored in secure device storage (the Keychain on iOS, its Android equivalent) so we can tell how many free Premium days remain. It is a single timestamp and never leaves your device.
Audio and video exports — anything you render or export is created on your device. If you choose to share it, it goes only where you send it via the standard system share sheet.
MIDI — if you connect a MIDI device, note data is processed on your device to play sound. We do not record or transmit it.

Purchases

Emojio is free to use and offers a single optional one‑time purchase, Premium (the Lifetime Unlock, emojio.unlock_forever). Payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store, or by Google through Google Play — we never see your card details. To deliver and restore the unlock we use RevenueCat, a purchase‑management service. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated anonymous identifier, your purchase/receipt information from the store you bought through, and basic device and app‑version information, solely to validate and restore your purchase. It does not receive your name or payment details.

Sharing songs

Emojio lets you share a song as a link. The song is encoded directly inside the link itself — we do not upload it to a server or store it. Anyone you give the link to can open that song. Please only share links with people you intend to.

Children

Emojio is a simple, family‑friendly music toy. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because there are no accounts and no data collection beyond what is described above, there is no personal profile to build.

Your choices

You can remove all locally stored data at any time by deleting the app. Note that your Lifetime Unlock is tied to your Apple ID, so you can restore it on a new device without any personal data being retained by us.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and revise the date above.
